I realise I forgot to specify whether the close date was the true close date. Apologies for this. However, I think a NO resolution now is correct:
Johnson's resignation honours list is out and his father isn't on it
Nobody else has suggested they might knight Johnson's father
I don't think anybody expected their mana to be locked up until Stanley Johnson's death
Most importantly, the close date was the end of the year and I didn't specify any circumstances under which this could be changed. If not specified otherwise, I think going with the close date is the best default, unless it seems obviously incorrect.
I'm going to sleep. If nobody makes a good faith argument against resolution I'll resolve NO when I wake up. (Even if you do make such an argument, I will take some convincing and might resolve NO anyway.)
Full disclosure, I'll profit from a NO resolution.
