I have constant tinnitus. My original resolution criterion involved sitting and listening for the ringing, and if it was absent a sufficient fraction of the time, I resolve YES. In the comments, somebody said that they don't consider themselves to have tinnitus, but they can hear it if they "try to", which casts doubt on the usefulness of my original criterion.
This poll is to try and see how common it is to be able to "make yourself" hear ringing. If everybody can do it, I should probably change my market's resolution criteria!
I'm also just interested in people's experiences with tinnitus so feel free to talk about it in the comments!
