I'm trying to install a sink today

As explained in the main market, I've never done anything like this before and I don't know if I can do it. When all the trials of the day are over, will I regret not hiring a plumber?
Things I will take into account:
Does the end of the day arrive and I've still not finished?
Did I make a mess that's a lot of work to clean up?
Did I need to call an emergency plumber anyway?
Is it very stressful?
On the other side:
I saved money?
Did I learn useful skills?
Do I feel a sense of achievement from having done a challenging job myself?
I will not bet in this market. I will try my best to resolve either YES or NO (i.e. not PROB or NA) after reflecting on whether I regret it on balance or not.

1.00I no longer regret it. Psychology is a funny thing. (Obviously the resolution of the market was still correct, because it was whether I'd regret it at the end of last Sunday, but just thought I'd share.)
The job still isn't technically finished, but the sink is usable and I'm confident I won't need to call a plumber.
I didn't manage to install the sink. See the main market for details. I'll reflect a bit more this evening on whether I regret the decision or not. I'm definitely disappointed the job isn't finished yet, and I know a plumber could have done it much faster, but there was a grim satisfaction to working out the various problems, as well as cleaning some bits and bobs that you don't normally get access to.
I didn't create a market on "will I regret it when the job is finished". I'm honestly not sure whether that would have been a better or worse question. On the one hand, I'll be judging my regret without knowing how many unexpected headaches are still to come, but on the other hand if the job was finished there might be a certain hindsight bias. "All's well that ends well" sort of thing...
Anyway, I'll resolve later this evening.
