Weirdness about this now:
If you are connected to a meeting but then kill the app, the connection stays alive but can't be interacted with at all via the phone til you open a new discord instance
There's no way to tell if discord thinks "there is sound coming out of the phone" so you often get cases where ds thinks and looks connected but you hear nothing
If you do the wrong thing, my model Y thinks that my phone is CALLING it but ofc no sound comes out and can't hang up
Turning off Bluetooth doesn't solve anything
I can't find a single page for the event I'm allegedly in. I click the server icon which has a speaker icon pulsing and am on a page with no data to indicate if ds thinks I'm connected, no ability to disconnect reconnect. On PC at least the server list bottom section has an area where I can see the alleged connectivity status.
Images: as far as I can tell the phone thinks I'm connected. But no way to reboot or leave. Car thinks it's being called and can't hang up and no sound comes out. No equalizer visible.
Killing app does nothing. App offers no way to quit out.
Literally only way out is to reboot phone.
Rebooting phone magically. DOES play the sound for a second or so while the phone says "restarting" out of nowhere! Then it cuts off. Same problem again upon restart.
In on pixel 7, a normal good phone which has no other problems
If this type of thing stopped happening by due date then YES
