Notice Robo's bicameralism (already previously present in the somewhat leftbrained Murphy) is crippled. He becomes rightbrained. Who is Dick Jones? Rightbrained. His calorie expenditure must be huge.

And notice what happens to Robocop.... THORACIC EXTENSION.

Malthusian, not Clarkian.
Right is by far the most privately frustrated.
BTW there's no explanation for the decline of bicam other than infectious disease collapsing populations and skyrocketing living standards.
Rightbrain is the worst possible option under any real food scarcity.
Bicam, of course, originated when food and sex were the limits (thus the copious sperm production and minimal calorie consumption).
When infect is the limit, things change. Also, STDs might make bicam disadvantageous, but this speculative.
Population collapse was not real everywhere. Deurbanization was a hard and fast rule.
