@Echidna I have no idea how a 50/50 resolution can be justified here. The choices were written clear and 70.5 does not qualify for any of the options listed above. Since MLE counts half eaten hotdogs when time expires as 0.5; the appropriate way to list each answer would have been 60-69.5, 70-70.5 etc. If the criteria was changed after the conclusion of the event because of the creators error then this should have been resolved N/A otherwise you have to go by the answers that were listed above.

@AnT No it’s definitely on me for reading something written in plain English and miss interpreting that to mean the exact opposite of what was stated haha. I thought it would be best for future reference to include how to properly form quantitative data when it pertains to research questions since the creator obviously did not know. MLE did not just begin awarding 0.5 pts in today’s contest.

so... you did live trading expecting "either there are 70.5 sandwiches and market gets N/A or 70 which gets full credit"? if so, I can only speak of different priors on question interpretation
