Background
In mid-June 2026, a 3-year-old female giraffe named Gracie escaped her enclosure at Cedar Hollow Ranch, a remote private game reserve in Leakey, Real County, Texas. Her owners have offered a $5,000 reward for her safe return and have utilized helicopters and drones to search the rough, heavily wooded terrain. She was last seen 100 miles northwest of San Antonio on a game camera
