Yes - I don't like being able to change the closing date, and I'm playing around with it to decide if and when I do like it. However, just to be clear, I have not changed the resolution date; I just changed the closing date. Originally, all the funds were going to sit frozen for five days to prevent the market from jumping to YES or NO in the last few days. People have expressed that they think keeping a market open to the end is often a feature, not a bug. I didn't feel strongly that this market benefited from the sitting around time, so moved the closing date to match the resolution date. It appears that having them be different dates was indeed confusing, so I am now MORE likely to move closing dates to match resolution dates on older markets.

I was wondering about the whole "changing the resolution time to be later than expected" thing, seems like it could create these 'misleading' situations. Can one create a market where they click something that makes them unable to change the resolution date?

Hmm, the resolution time change on this seems not valid to me (yes 28th makes more sense then 23 in the context of the question, but I and imagine other people bought the market expecting the resolution on initially stated date)

A direct link to that from an on-site menu or page would almost surely resolve this question to yes.
