There are 46 countries on the UN list of Least Developed Countries. Currently, Bhutan is scheduled to come off the list on 13 December 2023 -- but the world isn't doing so great. Will the list have 45 (NO) or 47 (YES) next?

Bhutan was removed from the LDC list in Dec 2023 as expected. No other country was added to the list prior.
@M I'll go by raw count, yes. So if Finland conquers Bhutan or Haiti disappears under the sea, those would also count as decreases.
