Will a webcomic (a comic-strip or comic panel style of formatting, whether humorous or not) output by an AI be available on Twitter AND gain 25,000 or more followers by the end of 2022? If a current webcomic is taken over by an AI, it will have to gain 25,000 new followers to qualify. If an account includes both AI webcomics and also non-AI-webcomic content, the market will be decided on the most popular content, as judge by retweets. #AI #fun #webcomics #twitter

I'll make one as if/when I get access to DALLE-2 — I would use GPT-3 generated text inserted into DALLE-2 images.

Cursory googling indicates no significant attempts at an AI-generated webcomic are currently active. Barring inside information, NO feels like a strong bet at 42%. That said, it would be really cool to see someone try to move the market...

I think ther market is really underestimating how hard it is for webcomics to get 25k followers on Twitter. Look at SMBC-guy: he's got 25k followers. XKCD-guy has 200k followers.

Also, now I'm curious if someone is going to set up the AI + account just to win this bet. Maybe I should have aimed higher.

Yes, in no small part because if the only requirement is followers why couldn't it get a lot of bot followers? I mean it works for a lot of insecure celebrities.
