Resolution criteria
This market resolves to the month in which the next official Codeforces Round (Div. 4) after August 1, 2026, begins, based on its scheduled UTC start time.
The official start date of the contest will be verified using:
The official Codeforces Contests page: https://codeforces.com/contests
Rules & Edge Cases:
The contest must be a scheduled, public, and official round on the main Codeforces platform containing "(Div. 4)" in its title (e.g., Codeforces Round 11XX (Div. 4)). If Codeforces changes the contest's name but still officially classifies it as a Div.4 contest, it counts.
Unrated mirrors, private group contests, or third-party training rounds do not qualify.
If the next Div.4 contest is scheduled to begin on or after 00:00:00 UTC on the first day of a month and before 00:00:00 UTC on the first day of the following month, the market resolves to that month, even if the contest finishes in the following month.
If the contest is rescheduled before it begins, the market resolves according to the new scheduled start month.
If a contest is cancelled before it begins, it is ignored.
If multiple Div.4 contests are announced, only the chronologically first one after market creation is considered.
If no Div.4 contest begins during any of the listed months, the market resolves to January 2027 or later.
If Codeforces permanently ceases holding Div.4 contests, and there is no official Div.4 contest scheduled to begin in the future by the market's resolution deadline, the market resolves to No more Div.4 contests ever.
Background
Codeforces Division 4 rounds are designed specifically for beginner competitive programmers with ratings below 1400. Unlike more frequent Division 2 and Division 3 rounds, Div. 4 contests are highly irregular—often spaced several months apart—due to platform scaling constraints, heavy participant load, and anti-cheating considerations.
Recent iterations in 2026 occurred on January 18 (Round 1074) and April 4 (Round 1090). This market tracks the exact date the platform hosts its next official Div. 4 contest.
