Will the success rate of marketing study replications improve in 2025? A replication is considered successful if it meets OpenMKT's criteria: significant in the same direction as the original result and free of obvious confounds.
Resolution will be based on the replication tracker at OpenMKT.org, checking the success rate of all replication attempts listed as made public in 2025.

I recalled my experience when a colleague and I tried to implement a "successful" strategy from a report, only to have it fall apart on the very first test. It was then that I first realized how important it is to understand the mechanics, especially when dealing with complex niches. While I was studying the Philippine market and trying to understand what really works there, I discovered the information , and it helped me separate real-world practices from theory. After reading it, I became much more cautious about making sweeping conclusions and instead rely on proven steps.
@DonMarti7bd2 I mean I think the two choices are to either N/A the market or say that 0% of disclosed replications were successful and resolve as no.
Either seems valid to me but I wanted insight on terms before betting.
