A fantasy sports league where you draft teams instead of players.
Scoring: 8 points for winning the league, 5 points for runner-up, 3 points for reaching the semifinals (or finishing 3rd or 4th if no post-season tournament), and 1 point for reach quarters (or finishing 5th-8th if no post-season tournament).
Sports: NCAA Football, NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAA Men's Basketball, NCAA Women's Basketball, UEFA Champions League, Men's Golf, Women's Tennis, Men's Tennis, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, English Premier League, and Little League World Series.
Men's and Women's Tennis, Golf - 1 mini-point for reaching the sweet sixteen, 2 mini-points for quarterfinals, 3 for semis, 5 for finals, and 8 for winning a major. Points awarded based on number of mini-points accumulated across all 4 majors. Points may be vacated for unowned players
Ties- In the result of a tie in any of these sports, both participants will receive the average of the points they tied for. For example, if two participants have a player that finishes tied for first in Golf both will receive (8+5) /2 = 6.5. (In this scenario, however, there will be no second place finish b/c they tied for first. The next qualifier would be in third place). Second example: If three golfers tied for 1st, they would all receive (8+5+3)/3 = 5.3, and the next golfer would get 4th place points.
Trading: Trades are allowed at all times before a team's result in their sport is final. Commissioner has veto power if feels a trade is non-competitive.
Waiver Wire: There is no waiver wire.
Draft: The draft lasts 20 rounds. Every participant picks a total of 20 "teams." You must pick one team from each sport. The draft will be in typical snake draft fashion. You must have 1 team from each sport. Since you have 20 spots to fill and there are 15 sports, the most teams you can have from any one sport is 6. In other word, you have 5 flex draft spots.
