YES

MLB made several rule changes last year. As a result the average game time dropped by 20 minutes to 2 hours and 42 minutes in 2023, marking the lowest duration since 1984, and making the game a lot more interesting.

Will this trend continue, stabilize or revert in the 2024 season? If average game time is 2 hours and 42 minutes ot mo, this market resolves to no.

Resolution will be based on reported stats including post season such as https://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/majors/misc.shtml and https://www.statista.com/statistics/1310998/mlb-game-length/

This will in all likelihood resolve YES, but could yet resolve NO

The regular season average was 2:38, and with only a maximum of 45 games (or 3/162 of the regular season) the playoff games would need to average at least 5:23 to get to 2:42.
