This market will resolve if, by end of the market on May 9th 2022 (4 weeks after the first date of the strike), Etsy's management agrees to: * Cancel the fee increase. * Crack down on resellers with a comprehensive plan that is transparent, so sellers can hold Etsy accountable. * Give ‘Golden’ support tickets to sellers affected by extreme AI actions (account termination, 45/90 day holds, etc.) * End the Star Seller Program. AND/OR * Give all sellers the ability to opt out of off site ads. If the organizers of the strike (https://etsystrike.org) state that a offer does not match their demand (i.e. they reject the implementation), that individu Apr 11, 11:17pm: … that individual demand will not count; however concessions that remain uncommented on by the organizers *will* count if they match a plain english understanding of the demand as described above.

Hey folks, so I chatted in the Etsy Strike's discord and while folks there are upbeat about the coverage that the strike received, the number of people who have joined the movement, and their prospects for future victories in the long term, my understanding is that none of the demands have been met so far (conversation here: https://discord.com/channels/947545459092754443/948375190235123732 ), so I'm resolving this "NO".

Hey, so I spent some time earlier this week checking on the status of this, and just to be clear, if this market ended tomorrow, I think I would be resolving it as "No.". I'm not sure which option that Andrew thinks has happened already, but open to hearing what it was -- if it's the comprehensive plan, https://etsystrike.org/announcements/etsys-response-falls-short/ states that Etsy's proposal "falls short", and ends with "The blanket statement they have issued to members of the media does not address our grievances with the platform." Maybe it's one of the other demands?
One or more is a fairly low bar, and arguably has happened already. I doubt they're going to get their full list, though - but perhaps the rise of more decentralized storefronts that operate through Kofi templates or something might actually apply enough pressure to change Etsy's long-term decision making. In the near future, though, they have their sellers over a barrel.
I think the description got accidentally cut off early
