Resolves N/A if the question is unanswered within 30 days, or if the thread is abandoned or ends without answering it. If the thread is abandoned, or if the thread appears to have stopped following progress on The Patient before survival is determined, may resolve YES or NO based on the word of either author.

For the purpose of this question, “survives” is defined as “regains consciousness, and is either discharged from the hospital entirely or moved to a live-in patient housemodule”. Cryopreservation, or a stable coma expected to last until cryopreservation, do not count.

Update Sep 21, 3:19pm PDT: At this point, after tag https://glowfic.com/replies/1861720#reply-1861720, I would be inclined to call this for NO. But there has been trading in both directions since then so I will wait until there are more tags confirming that not only is there no last-minute miracle, thereʼs no last-second miracle. If there are no tags or author comments by the time the market expires, I will resolve NO not N/A.
