Niche markets, and their users can take over, but the subject may not be useful for other users. Will there be a feature to filter out markets based on tags?

Looks like that feature exists. I still see a bunch of items on the feed though related to what I hid and u followed, but I think this resolves to Yes given the fact that the feature was there

I think this already exists? Go to group page, click about tab, red button on top left to unfollow that group.

or rather, hide that group even if you're not following
