Resolution Criteria
The taproot wallet: bc1pnty2qv5fjlwk4tn79ly8wldh5d7atfz4f3ephumqkcctsfezdfgsfteqvn
This market resolves YES if the specified Bitcoin account (bc1pnty2qv5fjlwk4tn79ly8wldh5d7atfz4f3ephumqkcctsfezdfgsfteqvn) receives a transaction of at least $100 worth of BTC within 30 days from market creation. Resolution will be verified by checking the account's transaction history on a blockchain explorer (https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/bc1pnty2qv5fjlwk4tn79ly8wldh5d7atfz4f3ephumqkcctsfezdfgsfteqvn) to confirm that a confirmed transaction has been included in a block and officially recorded and verified on the blockchain. The transaction must show at least one confirmation to count as received. The market resolves NO if no such transaction is received within the 30-day window.
Background
Bitcoin blocks are added to the blockchain every 10 minutes, and transactions typically receive their first confirmation within 10 minutes of being sent. For most transactions, no more than 6 confirmations are needed for processing, typically taking no more than one hour for full confirmation. The value of BTC fluctuates, so the $100 threshold should be evaluated at the time the transaction is received.
Considerations
Transaction confirmation times can vary based on network congestion and transaction fees. Bitcoin uses a fee-based system where miners prioritize transactions with higher fees, and transactions with very low fees might remain unconfirmed for hours or even days.
