I have been lifting for 8 years, but got stuck in a plateu roughly 2 years in, got busy with grad school, then got demotivated and have lifted regularly but not on a program and have watched all my lifts go down. Recently I've decided to get serious about it again, and use the power of prediction markets to allow strangers to profit off of managing my expectations and give fitness advice.

Stats:
I'm currently 6'4", 215 Ibs, ~15% bf. My current DL is 375 Ibs. My PR for DL was made ~6 years ago and was 435 Ibs.

Diet:
I am on a cut eating 2000kcal/day (TDEE is ~2500kcal) that I will end in September. I then will go on a caloric surplus of 3000kcal/day, with a macro split of protein/fat/carbs of 35/25/40 (I do better with higher carbs).

Program:
I will be doing major lifts and cardio about 4 times a week. I plan on deadlifting once a week and to progressive overload by reps, followed by recalculating my 1RM once a month. I will start by using 75% of my 1RM.

So the first month:

0.75*375 = ~285
Week 1: 5x5 285
Week 2: 5x6 285

Week 3: 5x7 285
Week 4: 4x5 285, 1x(to failure) 285

Last set is used to calculate a new 1RM using Brzycki formula:
1RM=weight / ( 1.0278 – 0.0278 × reps )

Terms:
By the end of the program I will try to do a genuine new 1RM over the course of a couple days. The highest I get will be the number this market closes at.
