lol regarding the 2nd screenshot - our TOS is some over restrictive legal boilerplate we never bothered to look at and just crammed in for iOS and google one-tap.
for instance there's this clause
You shall not: (1) except as permitted by applicable law, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or decrypt the application; (2) make any modification, adaptation, improvement, enhancement, translation, or derivative work from the application
but we're open source and we do want people to build off the api and fork it if they want to!
@Austin are there situations where you would consider signing agreements like that to be a reasonable action?
@CodeandSolder idk, I'm good at coming up with hypotheticals -- maybe I suspect an employee might be borderline psychotic and it seems like a nondisparagement would be in Manifold's best interest?? even harder to think of when a nondisclosure might be good
