The market resolves as "YES" if Lionel Messi participates in a competitive Major League Soccer (MLS) match or a Leagues Cup match that takes place on a turf field at any point during the 2023 or 2024 MLS regular or post seasons, or during the 2023 or 2024 Leagues Cup.

A competitive match is defined as any official match that counts towards MLS league standings or is a part of the Leagues Cup, including regular season, playoff matches, and Leagues Cup matches.

Messi must be a participant in the match, meaning he must be on the field playing for at least part of the game for the market to resolve as “YES.”

The market will resolve as "NO" if Messi does not meet the above criteria by the end of 2024.
