By the way, the fact that you don't currently have M$100,000 to sell is going to make these results unrepresentative. There's no real incentive for anyone to make you a serious offer, since they know it won't be accepted. And, since they know it won't be accepted, it's also costless to make a high offer in order to manipulate the market.

@IsaacKing I agree with these comments at a high level. But I would tentatively expect to have that level of mana by market close. And hopefully my behavior on Manifold has been erratic enough to solidify the possibility of me accepting a competitive bid.

Also I would welcome those who make high offers thinking i wouldnt accept them - as long as they follow through if I decide to accept!

How do you plan to resolve this market if someone offers you $X, you decline, and then they're no longer willing to pay $X by the time the market closes?

@IsaacKing sorry for the delay! My plan was to solicit bids between now and market close, and then make the decision (realizing this wasn't clear from the description). I'll clarify with the highest bidder before deciding whether to accept whether their bid still stands.

Does Manifold market not prohibit selling M for USD?
