YES examples include OpenAI making GPT-5.6, GPT-5.6 Pro, GPT-5.6 Instant, gpt-5.6, gpt-5.6-pro, or another officially GPT-5.6-branded variant available in ChatGPT, Codex, or the API to at least one public customer tier. A gradual rollout counts once public customers can use the model. NO examples: rumors, leaks, benchmark labels, internal codenames, safety cards without public model access, or a model with different branding such as GPT-6, GPT-5.5, GPT-5.5 Instant, GPT-5.5 Pro, an o-series model, or a Codex-only name that does not include GPT-5.6. An announcement that GPT-5.6 is planned for a later date does not count unless a GPT-5.6-branded model is publicly available by the deadline.
