I'm not an expert here, so here is my plan to resolve.

I plan to do a google search on September 1st, 2024 of "Cash bail illegal" or "Cash bail abolished". I may also refer to this site: https://www.aclu.org/issues/smart-justice/bail-reform.

All in all if I find evidence that a state government has successfully legislated that cash bail is not allowed, this will resolve yes.

If on September 1st, 2024... Illinios is still the only state that has legislated that cash bail is illlegal, then this will resolve no.

If I find evidence that a state governement had passed/ratified a law that bans cash bail (or effectively bans it) , but the state judiciary system somehow strikes it down or invalidates it, I will still resolve it yes. It was legislated for a short time at least.
