Description:
This market resolves to "Yes" if a candidate other than Joe Biden or Donald Trump wins the 2024 United States presidential election. The market resolves to "No" if either Joe Biden or Donald Trump wins the election.
Caveats:
Media Reports: Unless the election is disputed, the market will resolve based on credible media reports within 48 hours following the conclusion of the election. If credible media sources declare a winner and the election is not disputed, the market will resolve accordingly.
Unforeseen Circumstances: If either Joe Biden or Donald Trump is unable to run due to health issues, legal matters, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the market will not resolve until the election concludes.
Election Disputes: In case of significant election disputes or legal challenges, the market will resolve based on the final, legally recognized winner as determined by the appropriate legal processes and authorities, including the Electoral College and Congress, if the dispute could lead to someone other than Joe Biden or Donald Trump winning.
Third-Party or Independent Candidates: Any third-party or independent candidate who is officially recognized and wins the election will count towards a "Yes" resolution.
Write-In Candidates: If a write-in candidate is officially certified as the winner, this will also count towards a "Yes" resolution.
Candidate Viability: If both Joe Biden and Donald Trump are unable to run or are no longer serious contenders for any reason, the market will resolve accordingly when neither remains a serious contender.
