People in the replies are very concerned about the security implications of the new TLD.
The .zip domain must be an important part of the incident. For example, if some malware happens to ring home via an "internal" .zip domain, that doesn't count. If a user downloads some malware because they think they're downloading a harmless .zip file, that counts.
A PoC by a security researcher, where they rely on a .zip domain to show what a potential attack would look like, doesn't count.
