This question asks when there will be a website that allows you to pan around seeing satellite imagery of earth, like Google Earth does. But unlike Google Earth at the time I am writing this question, this website should, in urban areas, allow one to keep zooming / panning past the point where the resolution is more fine-grained than a few dozen feet, and seamlessly transition to a point of view similar to Google Streetview, where I can stand/hover near a sidewalk or street and look horizontally at buildings nearby.
