I have always wondered what the general thinking about time is on manifold. Obviously markets exist that specify which end of day they mean(AoE for example), but my assumption is that most users that create a question think in their local time which might differ a lot from manifold server time.

Now that we have common knowledge that a lot of us are in Europe, when are we having Manifold meetups and stuff like that?

These are not time zones. The difference between the local time and UTC depends, not just on the time zone, but also on whether it's daylight saving time.

Voting from California after spring forward.. messes ups the stats

I'm surprised UTC-8 isn't the highest given that that's where Manifold is located, and a lot of the users seem to be Silicon Valley people. Also surprised that the most common timezone currently is outside the U.S., though I guess it makes sense given how much of Europe is in UTC+1.

@AdorjanKovacs I think so. The display time for the when Season 10 closes corresponds with the start of March in UTC-8. Last season, it was the same.

@Unown @AdorjanKovacs @Bohreromir I think it is always Pacific time (PST or PDT, depending on goddamned daylight savings time). But yes, it currently is UTC-8.
