The blanket is currently 31 rows long; doing a row at a casual pace takes about half an hour and my fastest row was just under 17 minutes. The blanket is not quite half done, and I started on 2022/11/23. I'll be arriving in New York City sometime between 12/08 and 12/10 after an 11-hour train ride, and am undecided on whether I'll bring the blanket with me to work on.
This market resolves YES if I've tied off the project and woven in the remaining end before stepping off the train.

Buying a little yes because my attitude has switched from 'well it might be something to do on the train, but being on a train is kind of distracting in itself so who knows' to 'oh, this is a human making a thing to keep the human warm in the cold dark times; I should bring it to solstice (which is the thing I'm going to NYC for)'. :) And I just started on the second yarn cake!
Progress shots below taken just now, 10mm crochet hook and nail file for scale.
