Esoteric Festival is a psychedelic arts and music festival run near Donald over Labor Day weekend, started in 2017.

In September 2024 the festival applied for a planning permit for its 2025 event. As of 2025-03-01, this has not been approved, and the CEO of Buloke Shire council is recommending that the application for permit be denied.

The most recent council papers on the application can be found in the agenda for their March 3 meeting where they will make a final decision.

This question will resolve true if the council grant the planning permit before 11:59pm Thursday March 6th AEDT. It will also resolve as yes if a permit is obtained by other means by this time, eg via successful legal action. Otherwise it will resolve as no
