Resolves YES if, on or before February 15, 2027, Tesla officially states a calendar-year-2026 Optimus production figure of 10,000 units or more, in its Q4/FY2026 shareholder deck, its Q4/FY2026 earnings call remarks or Q&A, an official Tesla press release, or an official Tesla/Elon Musk post on X made in his capacity as CEO. Units 'produced'/'built' count regardless of whether they are sold, delivered, or kept for Tesla's own internal use; prototypes explicitly described as pre-production do not count. If Tesla gives only a cumulative-since-inception number, the 2026 figure is that number minus Tesla's publicly stated pre-2026 cumulative total; if Tesla gives a range, the low end is used. If Tesla discloses no specific Optimus unit count at all by February 15, 2027, or discloses a 2026 figure below 10,000, this resolves NO. Third-party estimates, supplier leaks, teardown analyses, and unnamed-source press reports do not count for either side. Context: as of Tesla's Q2 2026 earnings call (July 22, 2026), Tesla had not disclosed any cumulative Optimus production count, and Musk described Optimus manufacturing scale-up as 'the hardest product to scale manufacturing that we've ever made.' Tesla's own stated full-year 2026 Optimus production target is 50,000-100,000 units.
Will Tesla officially report building 10,000+ Optimus robots in 2026 (1/5 of its own 50k-100k target)?
