Resolving NO.

I am using my moderation permissions to resolve this market on behalf of the creator. This is according to the Manifold Markets unresolved markets policy found here: https://help.manifold.markets/unresolved-markets

If the creator returns and wishes to change the resolution, please reply to this comment and tag DavidChee. The admins will then undo the resolution I chose and you may pick your desired resolution.

@jack Thanks! I'm glad that my mana won 0 mana in profit!

Seems to me that this didn't happen.

@VinceVatter Yeah the market maker was a troll, probably there won't be any resolution

@jonsimon Unsurprising. How does one contact a mod?

@JohnSmithb9be You can get to the Discord via the Sitemap linked in the nav

@BaKa can you please resolve this market?

predictedNO

@BaKa pls

Oh boy, moment of truth

This just in from The Scallion (The Onion derivative): Microsoft had all their money in SVB and the Fed has deemed Microsoft "Too Big to Bail Out (We're not that rich...)"
Just kidding, of course.

@bessarabov this market spooked me

Hedge market:

@brp So this will be a good test of whether the mods reliably punish troll users for resolving incorrectly

Just to be clear, this person has only ever made 1 market on Manifold, and it's this incomprehensible market. I feel like surely the false resolution rate for new accounts which make a single bizarre market must be >1%...?

predictedNO

@tailcalled Agree, but the question seems very clear and admins can correct wrong resolutions!

@jack Oh I felt like I had read somewhere that rugpulls were explicitly permitted according to the rules, but now I looked at some logs and it seems like some incorrect resolutions have historically been overturned. So I guess I'm wrong? idk

predictedNO

@tailcalled It used to be, but Manifold (wisely) changed their policy after observing the negative effects of some big rugpulls.

Wtf

Yeah i think so
