Resolution criteria
The game will be played on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon and broadcast on CBS. Oregon defeats USC if they have more points at the end of regulation. Resolution will be determined by the final official score from ESPN, CBS Sports, or the official athletics websites of either university.
Background
No. 17 USC will play No. 8 Oregon in a critical matchup on Saturday, Nov. 22. The No. 8 Ducks (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) and No. 17 Trojans (8-2, 6-1 Big Ten) will square off for the first time since 2023, a 36-27 Oregon win in Eugene. UO has won three straight and five of the last six against USC.
The moneyline for Oregon is -300. Oregon is one of three teams (Indiana, Texas Tech) in the top 15 for scoring offense, total offense, scoring defense and total defense. Oregon boasts the nation's No. 1 passing defense at 127.3 yards allowed per game, and is No. 3 in total defense (235.4 YPG). USC is coming off a big win against the No. 21 Iowa Hawkeyes, in which the Trojans kept their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
Considerations
In the wake of injuries to starting running backs Waymond Jordan and Eli Sanders, USC walk-on running back King Miller leads the team with 719 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Jordan had minor surgery on his ankle one month ago and was expected to miss 4-6 weeks recovering. Sanders is out for the season. USC has two losses already and cannot suffer another as they push for a playoff appearance.
