The Jetten I cabinet was sworn in by King Willem-Alexander at Huis ten Bosch Palace on February 23, 2026. Formed by Democrats 66 (D66), the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), and the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), it governs as a minority administration without a formal confidence-and-supply agreement, requiring ad-hoc legislative coalitions in the House of Representatives.
This market will resolve to YES if the Jetten cabinet remains in office for at least one full calendar year from its installation—reaching February 23, 2027, at 23:59 CET—without the government collapsing or tendering its collective resignation.
This market will resolve to NO if, prior to February 23, 2027:
Prime Minister Rob Jetten tenders the collective resignation of the cabinet to the King (entering demissionair status).
The cabinet collapses, is dismissed, or loses a motion of no confidence leading to the cabinet's resignation.
The resignation, replacement, or reshuffle of individual ministers or state secretaries will not trigger a NO resolution so long as the cabinet as a whole remains in power.
Official confirmation from the Dutch Government (Government.nl) or official royal communications will serve as the primary sources of truth.
