Resolution criteria

  • This market resolves to YES if Donald Tusk continuously holds the office of Prime Minister of Poland from the creation of this market through February 1, 2028 (00:00 CET).

  • This market resolves to NO if Donald Tusk resigns, is removed, is replaced by a successor, or otherwise officially ceases to hold the position of Prime Minister at any point prior to February 1, 2028.

  • Temporary absences or delegational arrangements where Tusk retains the official title of Prime Minister do not trigger a NO resolution unless a new Prime Minister is formally appointed or sworn in.

  • Official confirmation will be drawn from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland (gov.pl) or major global news outlets (e.g., Reuters, BBC, Associated Press).

Background

Donald Tusk assumed office as Prime Minister of Poland on December 13, 2023, following the October 2023 general election, leading a coalition government. The four-year constitutional term of the Polish Sejm means the next parliamentary election must occur by November 2027. Consequently, the formation of a post-election cabinet and any resulting change in leadership would expectedly take place between late 2027 and early 2028.
