This market resolves to YES if Air Baltic Corporation A.S. experiences a default event on its 14.5% EUR bonds (ISIN: XS2800678224, also known as "AIR BALTIC C 24/29 REGS") at any point from market creation until the bond's maturity date of August 14, 2029.
For the purpose of this market, a "default event" is defined as any of the following:
Failure to make a scheduled quarterly interest payment or principal repayment when due, beyond any applicable grace period specified in the bond indenture
Filing for bankruptcy protection by Air Baltic Corporation A.S.
Announcement of a debt restructuring that modifies the bond terms unfavorably for bondholders, including extending maturities, reducing principal, or lowering the 14.5% coupon rate
Any event that triggers the cross-default provisions in the bond indenture
Official declaration of default by the bond trustee or a rating agency downgrade to "D" (Default)
The market resolves to NO if Air Baltic Corporation A.S. successfully meets all payment obligations on these bonds through August 14, 2029 without triggering any of the default conditions listed above.
If the bonds are fully redeemed or called prior to maturity without any default event occurring, the market resolves to NO.
In case of a partial default where some but not all obligations are met, the market still resolves to YES.
If Air Baltic Corporation A.S. is acquired, merged, or undergoes any corporate restructuring, the default status will be evaluated based on the treatment of these specific bonds in the transaction.
