Recently, Roblox announced they as the company will take a percentage in ALL brand deals executed on their platform starting in 2027

This seems like an overreach (no other social/video platform does or has attempted this) and punishes independent developers who have built their own sales pipelines in the last few years to eke out margin
Will the current outcry + feedback be enough to induce some kind of walkback from Roblox by end of 2026?
Success criteria:
Roblox officially in some way introduces caveats to their existing announced plan of introducing platform-wide revenue share for all brand deals
Why would they want to walk it back? What alternative does anyone complaining have? There's no real competitor. & they have to do this partly for compliance reasons.
@ChurlishGambit well part of this is the nature of this manifold market: is there of enough of an "Ecosystem advocacy" within Roblox to understand that squeezing too hard asphyxiates the overall growth of contributors? it's hard for me to tell, so I created the market!
