I tend to not regret things in general

seems to do a lot of the explaining here! i was baffled by the YES bets tbh many people just don't regret new experiences that often, especially when the downside risk is largely "unpleasant conversation"

I watched an hour or so, skipping around. Andrew was intolerable. Lily Phillips was surprisingly charismatic. Aella had some great lines. A few I jotted down:

"you sound very confident in the things you say, but I don't think that makes you more right"

"pain is just coming into contact with reality, and then when you're in contact with it, it doesn't hurt anymore"

"I like cultures where you quickly admit when you're wrong"

And I thought it was great how she defused Andrew with self deprecating comments, like:

Andrew: "it's almost like you're being pedantic."

Aella: "I am a weird person."

Lily Phillips said that no one has had sex while skydiving, but I've definitely seen that done before.

Lily did suggest that it was going to be skydiving fellatio, so maybe that is novel.

There was a joke made about having sex in space. That's never been filmed (to my knowledge), and I'm not sure whether or not anyone has even had sex in space. There was one porn movie with a zero G scene done in a parabolic plane flight, but the scene was brief and poorly filmed. I think it would be great for someone to try that again, with a higher production value. Maybe Lily would be the right actress for it, if she's looking to break records.

@PeterMillerc030 having just watched it I'm somewhat skeptical of the skydiving video, as there's no clear shot showing penetration and the angles look somewhat off. The harnesses also do not look conducive to a sex act. It's possible it was faked and the two of them just skydived naked and pretended to have sex.

@JBreos I'm not 100% sure that it's possible for one skydiver to penetrate the other, with that setup, but it seems plausible enough that I will never try tandem skydiving.

He said it's not possible to do science without a control and that if you were looking for a correlation between height and weight, then weight would be the control. (???) Aella has the patience of a saint lol. Imagine if it was the norm to just bring up ChatGPT or something as a tiebreaker for these kinds of things, it'd save so much time

Podcast is set up for short-form clip farming. Significantly higher short-form than long-form viewers incentivies antagonistic behaviour in order to get polarising clips.
Furthermore, they control the media release (unless otherwise pre-empted), so are simply liable to not release good-faith points.
Furtherfurthermore, viewers and hosts are diametrically opposed to positions Aella holds, and by my estimation not good-faith looking for counter-arguments.

Although this goes against my own bets, optimal strategy would be to lay low and simply be boring in moments in which you want the Sauron-eye of reels and shorts to pass you by, and then in areas you DO want the attention, be engaging, dynamic and polarising.

The hosts hold positions that they are heavily incentivised by their audience not to budge on, so any convincing, though possible, should involve graceful incentive-judo that allows them to be lead down the path. Good luck.
