This will resolve to whoever is publicly announced as the winner of Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans. This market will close when Jeff invites the first juror to cast their vote (usually by saying "It is time to vote" at the final tribal council)
Placeholder Contingency:
As the names of the castaways from Survivor 49 have yet to be announced placeholders have been added for those slots. Once the names are officially announced by CBS those contingency slots will be renamed with the relevant castaway.
Survivor 49:
Based on an overwhelming amount of preseason rumors and past Survivor practice, I'm assuming that one of the castaways from Season 49 will identify as male and the other will identify as female. If that's not the case, the names will be replaced in the following way:
If the two castaways from Season 49 have different gender identities the castaway who identifies as male or female will be assigned to the slot for the gender they identify with and the non-binary castaway will be assigned to the other slot
If the two castaways from Season 49 have the same gender identity, the castaway, whose elimination is aired first on Survivor 49 will take the male castaway slot, and the other castaway will take the female castaway slot. If both castaways make it to final tribal council, the castaway with the least votes to win, will take the male castaway slot, and the other will take the female castaway slot. If both castaways receive the same number of votes to win the castaway whose name comes first from the alphabet will take the male castaway slot, and the other will take the female castaway slot.
Cast different than what was announced:
If any castaway whose name was not announced appears on the season, they will take the slot titled "no member of the announced cast". If a third member of the cast of Survivor 49 is added to the Survivor 50 cast the castaway whose exit was aired first will take the slot titled no member of the announced cast and the remaining contestants will take the survivor 49 slots.
