the title is pretty self explanitory tbh, measured at the time of closing.
note: shares of YES count only (If 9 people have the same amount of yes shares and 1 person has that amount of no shares, that resolves no).
>= (greater than OR equal to).
resolves no if does not meet requirements

Hmm, apparently my previous offer wasn't enticing enough. @GoodLuckGremlin @Birger @mvdm @omnishambles @IanMcKenzie @wylderai @ThomasKwa @AndrewHalsell @Mira @TameraLanham @Dan @PeterBarnett @miscatulated @Rasmus1 @JoshuaB @willnotgrant @whenhaveiever @HannahFox @Cytokine @Wobbles @StefanMichiels @AndrewG @Radicalia @puffymist what would I need to convince you to join team NO instead?
@IsaacKing We're not stupid. Obviously you're just going to dump shares on us to exit and that payment will never actually materialize because the market will resolve YES no matter what you do. There are so many new accounts that I've never heard of in this market; they'll probably never log in again, never see your "enticing offer", and win by default.
Make it an unconditional payment and I'll exit.
@Mira I'm only dumping shares because people aren't taking me up on my offer. The number of shares I hold in this market has no impact on my offer; it's open regardless of how many NO shares I hold.
@IsaacKing Everyone can have my word that I will not change the number of YES shares I have. I encourage other 100 bettors to do the same!
@IsaacKing I won't be changing my 100 YES shares. I cooperate in prisoner's dilemmas :)
I have made a note of everyone currently holding YES shares. To everyone who is part of the groups of M100 or M$10 YES holders, I'm offering you M$1000 if this market resolves NO, to sell at least one YES share and cease holding the same number of shares as anyone else.
This offer is only open to the first few people who accept. Once a group of shareholders is down to only 5 people, the last 5 people can't take me up on this offer.
@Dreamingpast aaand we're down to the last left place in Isaac's offer! After that everyone feel free to buy 10 YES cuz it'll be resolving YES
@IsaacKing Pretty cool offer! If I was a part of either of those camps, I'd have taken it xD. Alas, I'm gonna ride this one out on team YES
@IsaacKing If enough people take you up on your bribe to actually change the outcome to NO, then you'll lose mana on net.
You'll pay the bribes only if the market resolves NO. I suspect you don't actually want the market to resolve NO, but instead you just want to inspire a shift in price before you sell your NO shares.
@LukeHanks Sounds like YES traders could make a lot of mana by buying NO and taking me up on my offer then. :)
@IsaacKing Only if it changes the outcome to NO, and even you don't think that will happen. There's a reason the vast majority of YES holders haven't taken you up on your offer. If you offered 1,000 mana regardless of the outcome, then I think more people would bite.
Wouldn't matter anyway. I'm confident enough people won't budge. There are things in this world more valuable than mana.
@prigoryan He said you needed to "sell at least one YES share and cease holding the same number of shares as anyone else." You bought YES shares and now hold 105 YES shares which is the same number of shares as quite a few other people.
@LukeHanks that probably wouldn't have mattered for the eventual resolution as far as the spirit of the Isaac's offer goes, but I've sold some shares to hold a unique number of YES just in case.
@IsaacKing specially for YES holders with 100 shares, switching to NO collectively is a better deal (independently of Isaac's offer)
