Resolution Criteria
The 2nd ODI between India and New Zealand will be played at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on January 14, 2026. The market resolves YES if India wins the match, and NO if New Zealand wins. Ties or no-results resolve NO. Resolution will be determined by the official match result on ESPNcricinfo.
Background
India won the first ODI by four wickets against New Zealand at the BCA Stadium in Kotambi, Vadodara, to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The chase was anchored by Virat Kohli, who played a composed knock of 93 off 91 balls, while captain Gill supported him with 56 off 71 deliveries. India have named a near-full strength ODI side, even as they have rested a couple of players for the T20Is, while New Zealand arrives with several new faces; the likes of Kristian Clarke, Adithya Ashok, Jayden Lennox and Nick Kelly arrive with precious little international experience.
Considerations
Rishabh Pant was ruled out of the ODI series due to injury with Dhruv Jurel replacing him, and Washington Sundar was ruled out due to injury with Ayush Badoni replacing him.
