Will I know the truth by the end of this year?

This is, I suppose, a market on my soul. I've told a number of partial truths about wrongs which I have done because I thought it would benefit myself. The result has been bad: I now find experientially relatable many of the wicked characters in Dostoyevsky (disclaimer: I've only read C&P in 9th grade, and some short sections of Karamazov and Notes from The Underground), and it seems unclear how to turn around. I can feel certain truths come up, and then flee quickly and become self-suppressed as soon as I start thinking about them. I was in a similar spot 2 years ago and I chose not to tell the full truth; Brutal honesty seems to be the best thing for me, but it seems almost impossibly difficult--I'm fighting against my own ego, or something. Question resolves to "Yes" if at some point in this year, I no longer feel as though I am suppressing the truth. Jun 29, 8:48am: resolving n/a

I'm somewhat tempted to bet against myself, even though I desperately need it to go the other way.
Clearly, being right on Manifold Markets* is not something that is worth the cost of my very soul.
