Market resolves YES if someone finds an intervention that significantly helps my Mysterious Tiredness. I will not buy any YES in this market.
I constantly feel like I want to go to sleep. I can keep doing tasks once I start them, but starting them feels nearly impossible; I have to use willpower to do something as simple as shower or wash the dishes. I have a history of depression, borderline personality disorder, and migraines, all currently in remission. I have a history of sleep maintenance insomnia, currently usually in remission due to CBT-i and medication, although I have flareups. However, I used to get nine hours of sleep a night and currently usually get seven; I suspect that I am chronically undersleeping, and perhaps insomnia interventions would help.
Meds: nexplanon implant; testosterone for FTM transition, 80 mg weekly; 75 mg lamitrogine, mornings; 25 mg methylfolate, mornings; 1000 mcg B12, mornings; 1mg melatonin, evenings; 20mg escitalopram, evenings.
I exercise about five days a week. Lacto vegetarian diet; lots of sweets, but a reasonably number of vegetables and proteins. I don't drink, smoke, or take drugs.
I am pretty comfortable discussing private medical information on the Internet so if you have more questions please ask!

Your melatonin dose may be too high. 0.3 mg is the normal recommended amount. https://slatestarcodex.com/2018/07/10/melatonin-much-more-than-you-wanted-to-know/
@SG I take 0.3mg occasionally and it usually causes me to wake up after 5-6 hours, this could definitely be the cause of the undersleeping. 6 hour time release taken ~3 hours before bed seems a bit better than regular 0.3mg https://a.co/d/fzEpgtj

"""Tl;dr: If you are vegan or menstruate regularly, there’s a 10-50% chance you are iron deficient. Excess iron is dangerous so you shouldn’t supplement blindly, but deficiency is easy and cheap to diagnose with a common blood test. If you are deficient, iron supplementation is also easy and cheap and could give you a half standard deviation boost on multiple cognitive metrics (plus any exercise will be more effective). Due to the many uses of iron in the body, I expect moderate improvements in many areas, although how much and where will vary by person."""
Vegetarians are also more likely to be iron deficient

Escitalopram
being unable to sleep -> take first thing in morning
being sleepy -> "Take escitalopram in the evening and cut down the amount of alcohol you drink. Do not drive, ride a bike or use tools or machinery if you're feeling sleepy. If this does not help, talk to your doctor."
