Feel free to DM me or comment any questions! Thank you for participating!

This is a very complex market for only a mini, so I’m not expecting any traders at all.

Rules (admittedly imperfect; limited planning resulted in a very basic if not disappointing scoring system):

Only running events at the Olympics

Each of us gets three runners per event

Men’s: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5km, 10km, marathon, 400m hurdles

Women’s: 1500m, 400m hurdles

(Another admitted flaw, as neither of us know nearly as much about women’s track and field. Hopefully a change we see in the future)

Points allotted based on placement (lowest score wins):

Gold medal: -20

Silver medal: -10

Bronze medal: -5

Places 4-9 in finals: Same number of points as place (ex. 6th place gets +6 points)

Outside top 9 at finals: +10

Qualified for semis (must explicitly be the semis): +20

Did not qualify for semis: +30

-For events such as the 5000m, where there are only two rounds (heats and finals), finals will be scored the same (-20, -10, -5, 4, 5, 6…), and runners who don’t make it past the heats will all receive +30

-For events with only one round (finals), runners will score be scored the same as usual (-20, -10, -5, 4, 5, 6…), but can score up to +30. Runners 30th place or below will score +30.
