Backstory

On 9th June 1946, Rama VIII (Ananda Mahidol - Wikipedia) was found dead on his bed. Three of the royal guards were executed and the Prime Minister of that time Pridi Banomyong (Pridi Banomyong - Wikipedia) -- who's also a part of the origin of US OSS, which later become the current CIA -- was blamed. Until this day, no one knows the real truth of the cause of Rama VIII's death. Except, Pridi deposited his letter to the French government, which is currently residing in French Foreign Ministry's archive. The French government said that it can be disclosed in 2024.
