Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to the co-host country (USA, Mexico, or Canada) that progresses the furthest in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Farthest progress is defined by the tournament round reached (e.g., reaching the Round of 16 is further than being eliminated in the Round of 32).
If multiple host countries are eliminated in the same round (including the group stage or any knockout stage), the following tiebreakers will apply in order:
Goal Differential: The country with the highest overall goal differential (total goals scored minus total goals conceded) across all matches played in the tournament up to and including their elimination match.
Latest Elimination Time: If overall goal differentials are also tied, the country whose final elimination match ended last chronologically (determined by the exact time the full-time whistle is blown in UTC) will be declared the winner.
The primary source of truth for match results, brackets, and statistics is the Official FIFA World Cup Standings & Results.
Background
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This iteration of the tournament is the first to feature an expanded 48-team format, which introduces a Round of 32 knockout stage following the group stage. Because of their host status, all three nations automatically qualified for the tournament.
