Language works due to a shared understanding of the meaning of words. But language also allows room for using a word in a novel way in order to provoke thought. This is especially common in poetry, but not limited to it.

The dude is deliberately tweaking the meaning of "bad". Of course his meaning of the word doesn't match common usage.

Feels like this poll is structured to miss that.

I think the tweet is wrong, btw. He holds up the threat example, but doesn't account for "someone wants to harm you purely for their own gain."

Still, it's not the sort of claim that's meant to be fully right. It's meant to be thought provoking.

@DanHomerick Good observation, I am actually collapsing his verbose bs into a binary outcome in order to discredit it. The reason for this is that there is also a meta game going on here. Kazani writes this not as a pure intellectual musing, but as part of pushing a certain worldview, which notably includes whitewashing Palestinian crimes.

>bad people don't exist
>if they are bad it's because they are actually good

Musk and Putin. Case closed.

@Lorelai anyone who gave this a thumbs down needs to get fascist cock out of their mouth 🤮
