my current GPA is 3.83 from 1 year of college. my major GPA is 4.0. i go to brandeis, and i'm (planning on) majoring in philosophy & probably also something technical.
my high school GPA was 3.7 unweighted / 4.6 weighted or so, i don't exactly remember
EDIT: resolves N/A if i drop out. since the time of creating this market to now, that option has gone from “unthinkable/inconceivable, <0.1% chance” to “i would be shocked, 1% chance”
@saulmunn First one is ⅓ (Brandeis GPA) + ⅔ (Berkeley GPA), assuming you spend two years at Berkeley
@derikk i’m going to weight it by credits, since some semesters at each school i had uneven # of credits
I think this market is fairly priced so won't participate, but I would like to briefly note that most people aren't told until it's too late that certain career paths care far too much about GPA in a very naive way without adjusting for difficulty, and if you're considering one of those, there is no dishonor in intentionally swapping out one hard class for 2 easy classes to game that system
@saulmunn Law for sure; plenty of bigname fellowships as well (e.g., Rhodes, Marshall). Reportedly medical school.
