Will Manifold Markets try to stop users from making extra accounts to shuffle money around by June 2022?

Don't act like you haven't thought about it... Currently, anyone can make multiple MM accounts (as long as they have multiple gmails), then bet on their own questions and resolve it how they see fit, presumably to stack that sweet sweet fake $$$. This doesn't really matter bc... fake money, but still. Will MM try to curb this behavior by June 1, 2022? This question will resolve as YES if MM has enacted some sort of solution to thwart this behavior, maybe using IP address detection or some other technical fix that I can't fathom because I am technologically illiterate.

I am the cofounder of MM. We have implemented some anti-multiple-account features. But I will not tell you what they are (security through obscurity!). This should resolve YES.
Indeed. It seems that there's an aversion to locking up any capital for more than about a week, which makes sense, people want the quick hit stuff rn. Maybe I'll N/A and redo this one.
Oh I see, May 2 is when people stop being allowed to trade, but you are allowed to resolve the market later than that. Aww, that locks up funds for a month.
Yeah I'm really not grokking what you're saying. If I can easily set up a new account on June 1, that almost certainly means the tech to stop this hasn't been implemented. And/or I could DM a MM team member to see if they've done anything on this front. I guess if they're cagey about their answer, then I can't be certain and it will resolve as N/A
Are you technically able to resolve it at 20%, or something? I expected you to resolve as x if you are *certain* it's x.
#3 checks out except I'm guessing they'll want to keep that "incentive" up for a while. Why couldn't I resolve this as NO? Couldn't I just ask a founder if they're deploying anything like this (or cutting the signup bonus)?
1. The market should resolve as invalid at May 2 because you won't know how else to resolve it, *unless* the answer was yes. 2. By buying Yes I am shifting my M$ to the timelines where they are worth more. 3. All they need to do is make the M$ you start not worth the effort to fake an account.
