Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio (https://cedarpoint.com) is opening a new roller coaster, Top Thrill 2, in Spring 2024. A "reimagining" of an existing ride, Top Thrill Dragster, Top Thrill 2 is built on the bones of a coaster with a notorious history of delays, downtime, injuries, and that one time it almost killed a lady who got hit in the head with a metal plate that flew off the ride at 120 miles per hour.
